Tampa Bay Beaches are always on the favorite lists but this time Trip Advisor has added St. Pete Beach (#9), Caladesie Island State Park (#11), and Clearwater Beach (#21) to its 2014 Top 25 Beaches in the USA!
We pride ourselves about these pristine beaches that draw thousands of visitors to the area each year… sparkling white sand, azure sea, cool breezes – not to mention spectacular sunsets every night! Congratulations Tampa Bay Beaches!!! No wonder sales are heating up!
At speeds of up to 180 mph, the roar of these sleek power boats will be returning for the 3-day BRIGHT HOUSE 2010 CLEARWATER SUPER BOAT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP FESTIVAL. Just over the bridge from Clearwater Beach, the boats will be on display Friday and Saturday at Coachman Park at the Baystar Race Village.
Other Friday Festivities Include:
• Baystar Village Party at the Promenade on the Bay, 5:30 to 9 p.m., at Cleveland Street and the city’s new marina next to Coachman Park
• Super Block Party in downtown Clearwater, 5:30 to 10 p.m., featuring the music of Let’s Hang On
Saturday Is Filled With Events Such As:
• Meeting the 2-Person Race Teams
• Make A Difference Foundation Fishing Tournament At Clearwater Beach Pier 60 at 8am and 10:30am
• Festival, Fireworks & Ice Cream/ VIP Event Hosted by Pier 60 Concessions/Fireworks Display
• Shephard’s VIP Party, hosted by the Clearwater Beach Chamber of Commerce, 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Sunday Is RACE DAY!

Over 25,000 spectators are expected and viewing areas are being set up at Pier 60, the Hyatt Aqualea Patio and the Hilton Deck Party. And, of course, the after race party will be hosted by Shepherd’s Beach Resort.

Yesterday was a BIG day in Clearwater Beach! With over 20,000 fans gathered and 1000 boats or more behind the spectator lines, some of the fastest boats in the world battled it out. Next in store is the Clearwater Jazz Holiday
October 15-18, free to the public in Coachman Park. This major international jazz festival will feature Al Jarreau, Chris Botti, Boney James and The Neville Brothers
! Clearwater is the perfect backdrop for this event with its warm breezes, brilliant sunsets and one of the world’s greatest beaches, on the Gulf of Mexico.
On November 14, The Foster Grant Ironman 70.3 Series,
culminates with its world championship in Clearwater, FL. More than 1,800 domestic and international competitors will earn the right to compete in the Ford Ironman World Championship 70.3 by qualifying at one of the 22 Ironman 70.3 events held around the world. Ironman 70.3 events consist of a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike and 13.1 mile run. The race will start and finish at Pier 60 on Clearwater Beach.
There is so much to see and do! We feature some beautiful seasonal rental condos right in Clearwater Beach that make a perfect home base for visiting these many events. Jill was actually staying at Harborview Grande over this past weekend and said she and her husband “had the best seats in the house… right from the balcony! We could see the entire race and all the fans, plus the fireworks Saturday night were spectacular. We didn’t want to leave!”
